Embodied Book Club
Women Who Run With the Wolves: A 15-Month Embodied Book Club & Feminine Wisdom Journey
We're not just reading the book. We're living it.
It's time to echo the primal howl of feminine wisdom, myth, and archetypes.
Step into a sacred sisterhood of story, intuition, and embodiment.
Over 15 transformational months, we’ll journey through Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ Women Who Run With the Wolves—one chapter at a time—awakening the wild, wise, and creative woman within you.
Join this circle unlike any other: a deeply spiritual, nourishing, and transformative book club experience designed for women ready to awaken their wild, intuitive essence.
Guided by Elizabeth Tidwell, menstrual cycle coach, educator, and founder of My Club Red, this journey goes far beyond reading: it is an invitation into embodied feminine wisdom, personal empowerment, and ritual healing in Salt Lake City.
Each month, we’ll gather in an intimate, closed circle of up to 15 women for a 3-hour experience blending guided conversation with deep embodied practices designed to bring the book’s timeless archetypes alive in your body and life.
This is not just a book club. It’s a soul pilgrimage through Women Who Run With the Wolves. We'll be excavating the myths from our own lived experience: living, breathing, and embodying the stories chapter by chapter, month by month. Each gathering is a sanctuary where you will be invited to drop into ceremony, movement, conversation, and exercises, awakening the archetypes of your wild and wise inner woman.
This is not a typical book club—it’s an initiation into feminine wholeness.

Who is this for?
This offering is for those who:
- Yearn for radical self-connection, empowerment, and to glean the wisdom of myth
- Crave depth, healing, and wild feminine wisdom
- Seek ceremony and embodiment in a safe, welcoming space that will hold them and grow over 15 incredible months
- Desire to deepen into story, myth, and archetypes that illuminate the human experience, the feminine experience, and the personal experience
"We are all filled with a longing for the wild. There are few culturally sanctioned antidotes for this yearning. We were taught to feel shame for such a desire. We grew our hair long and used it to hide our feelings. But the shadow of Wild Woman still lurks behind us during our days and in our nights. No matter where we are, the shadow that trots behind us is definitely four-footed."
-Foreward from Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D.

Testimonials
-
Melanie
"I'm so glad I attended Elizabeth's workshop! It was valuable and personal and delightful, and I left with so much to think about(and so many resources to look into) that I now have HOPE that our whole culture around menstruality education and care can really transform. I'm so happy for the girls who will never be taught that their amazing bodies and cycles are 'the curse.'"
-
Shelli
"Elizabeth is a wonderful and knowledgeable leader who brings such a calm, soothing energy to everything she does. Whether you're a newbie or have lots of experience, you're going to have a great time with Elizabeth.”

Do I need to buy the book?
Yes, you'll need a copy of the book. Hard copy is heavily encouraged.
What if I've already read this book?
You'll absolutely still gain so much from this embodied experience! We're doing so much more than just reading together. This program is for you if you are ready to go deeper into the power of the myths and archetypes, whether you've never read the book or have read it a hundred times.
Why is this program 15 months?
This experience is designed to be a slow, deep integration. The book itself is long (464 pages), so covering one chapter per month allows us to savor each chapter and slowly digest each myth. The weeks in between sessions will be potent time for the integration exercises to land more fully.
One meeting per month allows us to spend time with each chapter without rushing, and allowing this experience to flow into our lives without dominating our other commitments.
15 months also lends a beautiful and meaningful dynamic with the Earth's seasons and cycles: We begin in the dark womb of the year, journey around the sun, and emerge the next spring, changed, birthed, new.
What will each month's gathering look like?
First, what it will NOT look like. It will not be 3 hours, sitting and talking in circle.
We will be doing. Embodying. Excavating. Applying. Integrating.
The 15 gatherings will be varied, multi-modal, multidimensional integrations.
I am brining ALL of my areas of expertise, skills, and modalities to this program.
That includes my yoga certification with an emphasis on meditation, my cycle coaching expertise with an emphasis on nervous system regulation, my Reiki energy work modality, my Creative Writing Master's degree, my years of experience leading dynamic moon circles and women's workshops, and my years as a university educator.
We will move, breathe, regulate, create, write, share, visualize, ceremonialize, and more.
There will be creative prompts, somatic invitations, time to DO the hands-on exercises, and always sovereignty and agency as the ruling principle.
What ages are invited?
WWRWTW Embodied Book Club is best suited for adults age 18 to 100.
Is this program only open to women?
We will be focusing on the female myths, archetypes, and lived experience.
Women, non-binary and gender expansive folks welcome.
While men can gain so much from this kind of study topic and experience, and it is vital that they are invited and involved in reclaiming feminine wisdom and power, WWRWTW Embodied Book Club is not open to male attendees at this time.
What is the cancellation policy?
In order to make all the necessary preparations for this multifaceted experience, including venue rental, and especially to preserve the integrity of the closed circle, there will be no refunds given.
What if I miss a session?
While your continued commitment and presence is vital to the experience, both for yourself and others, we understand that life happens.
In our virtual community space I will supply an outline of what we covered, including the integration activities so you can deepen into that month's chapter before the next month's gathering.
Remember, though, that this is not a virtual or on-demand or individual at-home experience; it is designed to be a consistent, closed, in-person community. These gatherings can't be replaced with at-home study, and at-home study is for emergencies only.
Is there a payment plan available?
Yes! Simply select the bright blue "Buy with Shop Pay" option at checkout.
What should I bring each month?
Detailed instructions will be sent to those who register, along with ongoing communication and support, but the basics you'll always want to bring are your book, a journal and pen, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes you can sit and/or lie down in.
What level of experience with myth, feminine embodiment, the book, or archetypes is required? is it suitable for beginners?
No experience or knowledge required! Since this is a closed group, I can cater to the unique ecosystem of our small group and each individual. Every experience and exercise will be gently guided, and individual sovereignty is always prioritized; participate or share to the level of your comfort.
I will be available in the private virtual community for questions and am happy to supply members with additional resources to explore.
Will there be opportunities for personal sharing? is it required?
There will be many opportunities for sharing, but sharing is never required. Honor yourself and your desires and comfort!
