These special half-day retreats are for children and their caregivers to gather to learn and celebrate the changes that puberty brings. An empowering, fun, sacred and inclusive circle that goes way beyond school's basic, limited period education and focuses instead on cycle self-care and self love so children feel prepared, informed, confident and supported to experience puberty and their first periods.
These are small, intimate gatherings so space is limited. Book your spot today!
Schedule:
1 p.m. Kids-only educational session
3 p.m. Parent/moms arrive for afternoon tea, bracelet beading, wisdom sharing ceremony
4:30 p.m. approx. Wrap up and say goodbye

My daughter and I had a great time at the first moon circle session today!! #1 takeaway for her was she feels more comfortable about it (less shame or weirdness or mystery)
I recently attended a full moon circle class with my daughter focused on menstruation and body awareness, and it was a truly transformative experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, fostering a sense of community among the young girls. The facilitator guided the discussion with sensitivity and knowledge, making complex topics accessible and engaging.
My daughter felt empowered as she learned about her body and the changes she will experience. The use of creative activities, such as journaling and art, allowed the girls to express their feelings and connect with one another on a deeper level. It was heartwarming to see them share stories and support each other, building a strong sense of sisterhood.
Overall, the class beautifully combined education with emotional support, helping my daughter feel more confident about her journey into womanhood. I just attended Elizabeth’s First Moon maturation offering with my daughter and as a licensed clinician myself I found her to be excellent with material that was based and inspiring. The other mothers and I all expressed how much we wished we had someone doing the work Elizabeth is doing in our communities growing up. Anything that gets humans together speaking of our experience in our bodies and how to support ourselves in our connection with our bodies and living into new stories about our bodies is powerful and vastly needed! Out of the shadows and out of the shame!
