What was your very first period like? What were the circumstances surrounding your first bleed? How was it met--by those around you and by yourself? The stories of our lives go on living in our bodies and may still have an impact on our lives long after the event itself passes. Your first period story is no different. In fact, there is a wealth of self-discovery and potential healing to be found in revisiting your menarche (first period) story and having it witnessed. Together, we'll do just that.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Honor the significance of your first period experience
  • Discover the impact your first period experience may still be having on your menstrual cycle or lived experience
  • Explore your unique first period experience and revisit your menarcheal self through a guided meditation
  • Reflect upon your menarche experiences with guided journaling prompts
  • Opt in to sharing your own menarche story and have it witnessed in a sharing circle
  • Feel equipped to process and integrate these teachings and stories in upcoming menstrual cycles
